OSHA 10-hour Construction Industry Outreach Training
Course Length: 10Hrs
(not including classroom breaks)
Course Description: This 10-hour Construction safety awareness course was developed by the U.S. Department of Labor for construction workers, supervisors, and other personnel responsible for construction activities. All attendees will become familiar with reading and using OSHA 29CFR 1926 construction standards.
Introduction to OSHA.
Worker’s rights, employer responsibilities.
Safety Data Sheets.
OSHA Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses (OSHA Form 300).OSHA Focus Four Hazards.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Material handling, storage, use and disposal.
Scaffolds Stairways and ladders.
Hand and power tools
Policy: Students are required to complete 100% of the course and actively participate in all learning activities. Make-up time is not permitted for this training course.
Course Examination: Students must earn a 70% or more in their final exam in order to successfully complete the course.
Awarding of Certifications, CEUs, or Transcripts: Upon successful course completion students will receive a certificate of Completion from Safe Connect Us. Students will receive their 10 hour OSHA card within 2 weeks. Cards will be sent via regular mail to the address provided in the registration form or picked up at the office if indicated by the student.
